Business Foundation Program (Pre-Bachelor’s in Business)

This foundation course equips international students with the academic knowledge, language proficiency, and core business competencies needed for direct entry into top undergraduate business-related programs.

🎯 Target Students

This program is ideal for:

• Students whose grades do not meet direct entry requirements for university business programs

• Students planning to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines

📚 Key Modules

1. Daily Chinese Module

   • Learn practical Chinese for everyday communication and cultural immersion

2. English Learning Module

   • Improve academic and business English skills in reading, writing, and verbal communication

3. Basic Learning Module

   • Strengthen foundational subjects including Professional English and Advanced Mathematics

4. Professional Training Module

   • Gain insights into business fundamentals such as Microeconomics, Marketing, and Financial Management

📝 Application Requirements

• Valid Ordinary Passport (photo and address pages)

• High School Diploma (or equivalent qualification)

• High School Transcripts (or equivalent academic records)

• English Language Proficiency Report (IELTS 5.5 or English proficiency letter from your school)

• Physical Examination Report

• Certificate of Non-Criminal Record

• Guardian Authorization Letter (for applicants under 18, authenticated by your local Chinese embassy)

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a non-Chinese citizen

• Age: 18–23 years

  • Under 18: Must submit a guardian authorization letter (embassy-certified)

• A minimum of high school education or equivalent

• Academic results in Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology should be within 10–15% of the entry requirements for relevant undergraduate programs

• English proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

• Proof of financial support (bank statement)

• Be in good physical and mental health

• No criminal record

🗓️ Study Schedule

March – September

• Module Learning: March to July

• Review Period: July to September

• Final Exam: Mid-September

⏰ Teaching Hours

• 16–20 hours per week

🏫 Registration Date

• Start of the Spring Semester (Typically March)

🧪 Course Assessment & Evaluation

• Final examinations will be held in September

• A dedicated assessment panel will review results

• Admission to a Bachelor’s program (at the host or another university) is based on performance

🎓 Certificate Award

• 📜 Certificate of Completion for students who pass all modules and final exams

• 📄 Study Certificate for those who complete the program but do not pass all exams

• ❌ No Certificate will be issued if the student does not take the exams
