International Foundation Programs (IFP)

The International Foundation Programs (IFP) are designed to equip international students with the essential academic, language, and professional skills needed for a smooth transition from high school to university.

These preparatory courses are available to academically qualified international students whose language proficiency or subject scores do not meet the university’s direct admission requirements.

The IFP strengthens students’ foundational knowledge while enhancing their academic, English, and  Chinese language skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for undergraduate studies.

Available Foundation Programs

There are three specialized foundation programs offered:

• Foundation Program in Science & Engineering

• Foundation Program in Business

• Foundation Program in Medical Sciences

Each program combines:

• English language enhancement

• Chinese language immersion

Foundation Program in Science & Engineering (English-Taught)

The Pre-Bachelor’s Program in Science & Engineering acts as a bridge between high school and university, providing international students with a solid academic foundation in natural sciences and related fields.

This program enhances:

• Knowledge in core science subjects

• Academic and professional English proficiency

• Basic Chinese language skills for daily communication

It is designed to prepare students for undergraduate studies in:

• Pharmacy

• Civil Engineering

• Software Engineering

Who Should Enroll?

• Students whose scores do not meet the direct entry requirements for related majors

• Students planning to pursue preparatory courses in Pharmacy, Civil Engineering, or Software Engineering

Develops students’ listening and speaking abilities in Chinese, helping them navigate everyday life in China.

🔹 English Learning Module
